In the first half of August from 8pm ALART offers an atypical and creative art tour. This nocturnal art route is located in our neighbouring village of Alaró. A selection of local, national and international artists with a delicate, rich and innovative work is divided into various exhibition spaces such as the Addaya Centre d'Art Contemporani or the Casal Son Tugores, as well as other art spaces selected for the occasion.

In its annual edition ALART presents the works of more than 40 artists in 15 different rooms. For other cultural events (theatre, festivals, shows, conferences, markets) you can consult the agenda of the surrounding municipalities of Alaró, Binissalem or Lloseta. In Alaró the August festivals and in Binissalem the grape harvest take place in September, with regional dances and typical Mallorcan traditions from years ago to get to know the roots of the true culture of the place. The closest to our 4-star hotel is in Binissalem, the house museum Llorenç Villalonga. Llorenç Villalonga is one of the most famous and popular Mallorcan writers, and this museum shows each of the stages that the writer lived in this house, his second residence. In the large library, garden and orchard there are activities such as: Book presentations, concerts and plays. Music is one of the main figures in Mallorca's cultural life. Of all the music festivals that take place in summer, the Pollença Festival, which has been held continuously for 53 years, is the most important. The best performers are selected to perform both well-known classical pieces and others that are not so well-known but of excellent quality, such as Flamenco or Fusion.

Another renowned festival in Sa Pobla is the Jazz Festival, whose open-air concerts with local, national and international musicians offer a wide variety of styles. You can enjoy a typical Majorcan dinner with jazz and most concerts are free. One of the musicians who influenced Mallorca's cultural life the most was the romantic pianist Frederic Chopin, who spent a winter in Mallorca. From his short stay with us there were many memories, such as his works, which were composed here, and his rooms are kept as a museum. In his honour, the Chopin Festival is held every year in the cloister of La Cartoixa Valldemossas. Our receptionists will be happy to advise you about all activities on the island.

Mallorca is the perfect place for cycling, for its climate, its cycle paths and its landscapes. For this reason, the Hotel Rural & Spa offers special offers for cyclists, who can rent their bikes without supervision and use our bicycle shop for free, with the support of professionals when necessary.

Golfers can reserve green fees for us in their preferred field. The location of the hotel is easily accessible from the different golf clubs on the island. For example, a few kilometers away is the Gulf of Son Termes or the Golf Park Mallorca Puntir; Further north, towards Palma, you will find the Pollen Golf and the Alcanada Golf. . . Among other things, playing golf in Mallorca is ideal to enjoy contact with nature and the beauty of the spectacular views of the Mediterranean.
